Spending an afternoon in Monaco

Spending an afternoon in Monaco

Monaco gained its independence from the kingdom of Genoa in 1297. It was ruled by the House of Grimaldi. Actually, it still is today. Monaco's current prince, Prince Albert II, still belongs to the Grimaldi family. He is also the second son of Princess Grace.

I've been wanting to see Monaco for a couple of years now. Although I am no millonair, I can still frugally enjoy the city state by making a day trip out of my visit. My friend Anna came long as we drove around the little country. We exploring the awesome things it has to offer, mainly scenic views. My favourite part was the Princess Grace Garden within the Monaco Castle grounds. Without further adieu, here are some pictures from that afternoon.
